2017 tax returns are due Tuesday, April 17, 2018.
The IRS has reduced the amount of printed tax forms and publications available to public libraries nationwide. As a result, a limited amount of printed tax materials will be available in our branches for our customers. Library staff can assist you in locating tax materials. We cannot, however, provide you with tax advice.
Federal Tax Forms
The IRS provides various free options for your taxes:
- Go to Forms and Publications by U.S. Mail and request that forms be mailed to your home.
- Download Forms and Instructions from the IRS.
- Call the IRS toll-free at 1.800.829.3676 to order tax products to be delivered to your home by mail. This service is available 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding Federal Holidays. Note: IRS call centers will be closed during the Government Shut-down.
- Visit the IRS’s free efile page to see if you qualify for this option.
Ohio Tax Forms
The State of Ohio has eliminated all print tax forms. The IT 1040EZ has been rolled into the IT 1040
